Senior Go Developer

About the job: 

ProofLabs is looking for a talented Senior Go Developer to join our innovative team. This remote position involves developing high-performance financial applications and contributing to the overall architecture and design of cutting-edge solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Go.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design system architecture.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and reliability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Go and related technologies.

Your Experience:

Extensive experience as a Go Developer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of Go programming language and its core principles.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Proficiency with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing tasks and priorities effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Proficiency in German is an advantage.
